Interaktiv Tap for Traktor

Everything you play in Traktor, on one iPad screen.

Interaktiv Tap is a multi-touch instrument for live performance. One USB cable from the iPad to the Mac or Windows PC running Traktor Pro 3 or 4, and you play four decks, the mixer, EQ, loops and four FX units with both hands.

FX UNITS YOU PLAY BY TOUCH
Touch an FX pad and the effect is on; lift and it's off. Put two fingers on it and spread them: the pad follows both fingers and the gap between them, three things at once. Record that move and it loops in time with the track, on the beat, while your hands go somewhere else. Run it backward, halve or double it, layer loops across four units. HOLD keeps an effect on hands-free.

STEM AND REMIX DECKS YOU CAN ACTUALLY PLAY
Per-stem filter, FX send, volume, mute and cue on Stem decks. On Remix decks, fire slots from pads, punch in on the beat, and page through your slots. Track and Live Input decks too — all four of Traktor's deck types, from the same screen.

BUILT FOR A WORKING BOOTH
- App Lock stops the screen responding, so you can wipe sweat off it mid-set without setting anything off
- Freeze the whole app, move anything you want, and put the saved state back in one tap
- Rest a finger on any control and the header names its hidden gestures
- Faders that snap to centre when you slam them
- Swipe a deck open for EQ, filter and sends, and swipe it shut again

LOOP ROLLS UNDER THE HOT CUES
Hold LOOP on a playing deck and the hot cues become eight loop rolls, 1/32 to 4 beats: touch to roll, slide to change the size, lift and the track is where it would have been.

MAC AND WINDOWS, THE SAME INSTRUMENT
On a Mac the USB connection is built in. On Windows you also run Interaktiv Bridge, our free app from the Microsoft Store, which carries the MIDI over that same cable and turns green when Traktor answers. No Wi-Fi, no network setup, no extra hardware either way.

CONNECTING TRAKTOR TAKES THREE STEPS, ONCE
Export your Traktor settings, drop the file onto a web page, import the merged copy back. Your own devices and layouts are left exactly as they are. On Windows the page opens on the PC over the cable. After that it connects itself: launch it and it finds your Traktor, pulls the current state, and locks to the beat clock.

THE REST OF THE RIG
- Four-band EQ with kills, filters, gain, volume and cue
- Loops with size, hot cues, and a key fader — free or locked to semitones
- Four FX units fed from any deck, plus a filter and four effects on every deck
- Effects by name: step through Traktor's effects, keep a shortlist per unit, save their settings
- Master tempo, sync, flux mode, and audio loop recording

THE MANUAL IS INSIDE THE APP
Ask it a question in plain words — "how do I kill the bass?" — and get the exact section back. Setup on Mac and Windows, every gesture, the decks, FX, recording, troubleshooting. All on-device and offline: no account, and nothing leaves your iPad.

FREE TO PLAY, ONE PURCHASE TO KEEP
Every feature works from the first launch, in 15-minute sessions. The 15 minutes start once Traktor is connected and playing, so setting up never eats into them. When the time is up, that surface pauses and Traktor keeps playing — the music does not stop. Restart the app for another 15 minutes; it syncs to Traktor as it opens, so you carry on from where you were.

Take a 7-day free trial, or unlock everything with one purchase and it is yours for good. No subscription, ever. Family Sharing included.
