Just One – Focused Todo List

Just One is the to-do app that refuses to show you the pile.

Add everything you need to do, then see just one task. Finish it, or skip it to the back of the line — and feel the day get lighter, one card at a time. Editing, ordering, lists, and history live on their own quiet screens, so opening the app never turns into a review of everything at once.

KEEP A REAL LIST

Give a task a description, a due date, a due time, and subtasks. Sort tasks into lists for the different parts of your life. Set a task to repeat, and the next one appears only after you finish this one — a week away never leaves a backlog waiting for you.

CHOOSE THE ORDER, THEN FORGET IT

Work through a list in your own order, by due date, or in random order. Narrow Focus to what is due today or this week. Choose Zen, Balanced, or Compact to put more or less on screen.

DONE, SKIP, UNDO

Swipe right to finish and left to skip, or use the buttons, or both. Every Done and Skip can be undone, including the next occurrence of a repeating task.

FIND SOMETHING AGAIN

Search your open tasks and your completed history from Manage Tasks and Completed. Focus stays one task.

ON THE HOME SCREEN AND THE LOCK SCREEN

Widgets show the one task and let you finish it in place. A Control Center control opens Just One to add a task. Ask Siri for your one thing and it answers without opening the app. Send text or a link from the share sheet and it lands in your list.

ON YOUR WRIST

The Apple Watch app shows the current task, its steps, and Done and Skip.

ON IPAD

The same single card, with room to breathe in either orientation.

ON MAC

A native Mac app with real menus and keyboard shortcuts, and iCloud sync to keep your list in step, phone to Mac.

QUIET BY DESIGN

One gentle reminder on days you have something to do, and it stops once that day's thing is done. Reminders at the times you set. A rare, quiet word when a milestone passes while you are away from the app, with a switch to turn those off. No badges, no counts, no digests. The streak lives in Settings, and it turns up again when you finish everything. It is there to look back on, not to hold over you.

YOUR DATA

No account. No ads. No tracking. No subscriptions. Nothing to sign up for. Tasks live on your device. Optional iCloud sync keeps your other devices in step through your own iCloud account, and you can export a backup and restore it later.

WHAT IT WILL NOT DO

No priority flags, tags, or scores. No shared lists or assignments. No calendar grid, matrix, or dashboard. No leaderboards, and no pressure about a streak. Each of those would put the pile back on your screen, which is the one thing this app is for.
