Libre Tab: Songbook & Tuner

Libre Tab is a songbook and guitar tuner made for playing around a campfire. Every song shows its chords right above the lyrics, big enough to read in the dark, and the screen stays on while you play.

SONGBOOK • Chords above the lyrics, sized for reading from a few feet away • Auto-scroll at your pace — tap the lyrics to pause • Transpose up or down, set a capo, and see which shapes to play • Tap any chord to see how to finger it • Search by title, artist or a line of the lyrics • Favorites and setlists — swipe from one song to the next • Dark, red-night (easy on your eyes and everyone else's) and light themes

ADD YOUR SONGS • Scan a song sheet with the camera or from your photos — chords land on the right syllables, even in printed songbooks • Paste chords-over-lyrics from anywhere; Libre Tab lines them up • Open .cho, .chopro, .chordpro, .crd or .txt files — straight from Files, Mail, Safari or a chat app • Export your whole songbook as one .zip, and bring it to your next phone • Comes with public-domain campfire classics to start with

TUNER • Standard, half step down, Drop D, DADGAD, Open G and Open D • Big needle, clear "too low / too high", and a tap when a string is in tune • Reference pitch from 432 to 446 Hz

YOURS, AND PRIVATE • Works fully offline — no account, no ads, no tracking • Your songs stay on your phone • Free and open source under the GNU GPL 3.0

Songs are stored in ChordPro, an open plain-text format, so they're never locked in.
