Migraine Note: Headache Log

Migraine Note is a quiet, focused headache journal for keeping the details you
may want to discuss at your next appointment.

RECORD AND REVIEW
• Make a quick record from Today by choosing a pain level, with an optional
medication log, then add details to that same record.
• Log pain level, location, type, symptoms, medication, triggers, impact, and
a free-text memo.
• Record multiple headaches and medication entries in one day.
• Search your complete history and narrow it by period, pain level, medication
log, memo, symptoms, location, or noted factors.
• Review and edit past headache or medication entries.
• Resume or discard a protected on-device draft after an interruption. Drafts
are excluded from backup and are not placed in iCloud.
• Delete an individual headache after reviewing its linked medication count;
the app creates a recovery snapshot before the atomic deletion.
• See every recorded day in a calendar and review recent patterns in Insights.
Saved pressure context appears as individual recorded points, not a continuous
measurement or a claim that pressure caused a headache.
• Save weather and barometric pressure with a record when location access is
allowed.
• Optionally schedule a real daily local reminder at your chosen time.

KEEP CONTROL OF YOUR DATA
• Create a complete backup containing headache records, medication entries,
your medicine list, consultation notes, and saved weather snapshots.
• Preview a backup before restoring it.
• Restore by safely adding missing data. Existing items and current app
settings are not overwritten; different versions are kept as separate copies.
Duplicate headache identifiers are made unique after a safety snapshot, and
ambiguous medication links are preserved as standalone medication entries
instead of being guessed.
• Recovery copies are created before supported destructive deletions.
• The app removes its private temporary share file when the backup hand-off
screen closes. Copies you save or share remain under your control.

PREMIUM (OPTIONAL)
• A visual pressure outlook for today, tomorrow, and the following day, with
weather symbols and easy-to-scan change levels.
• Doctor-ready PDF reports for 30, 90, or 180 days, including continuation
pages when a consultation note is long.
• CSV export with standalone medication rows preserved.
• Pressure Change Alerts for notable forecast changes.
• Past-date weather backfill and weather/pressure summaries.
• iCloud sync across supported Apple devices.
• App Lock using device-owner authentication (Face ID, Touch ID, or the device
passcode when available).

Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled. Where the App Store offers
it to an eligible new subscriber, the yearly plan includes a seven-day free
trial; the paywall shows that wording only when StoreKit returns that exact
offer. Manage or cancel your subscription from your Apple Account subscription
settings.

PRIVACY
Migraine Note has no account system, advertising, analytics, or developer-run
data server. Records are stored on your device and, if you enable iCloud sync,
in your private iCloud database. If location permission and weather capture are
enabled, the location is processed by Apple WeatherKit to obtain weather; the
developer does not receive the location or forecast data. Backup files leave
the app only when you choose where to save or share them.

Migraine Note is a journal and report-organisation app. It does not diagnose,
predict, treat, or recommend treatment for any condition. The three-day
pressure outlook and Pressure Change Alerts show weather information; they do
not predict whether a headache will occur. Consult a qualified healthcare
