Mint: Make Friends Nearby

Mint is a map of what's actually happening near you — and who nearby is already into the same things.

Open it and you see your own neighbourhood: events on this week, communities you could join, and hotspots where people close by share your interests. Tap any pin for the details, the description, and who else is interested.

No feed. No swiping. Just what's on, and who's going.

WHAT YOU CAN DO

Discover on the map
Events and interest communities near you, filtered down to the things you actually care about.

Follow the overlap
A hotspot is a loose cluster of people near you who share overlapping interests. Nothing on there yet? That's rather the point — it's a reason to start something.

Start it yourself
Create an event or a community in about a minute. Tag the interests it belongs to, and the people nearby who share them can discover it.

Talk before you turn up
Message the host, or the whole community, before the day. So the first time isn't a cold start.

Keep it in one place
Your Hub holds what you're hosting, what you're going to, what you've saved, and the people you've met along the way.

Show up, level up
Sparks and streaks — a small, unserious nudge for actually leaving the house.

WHAT PEOPLE USE IT FOR

Saturday parkruns and running clubs. Dog walks. Sunrise yoga on the grass. Book swaps, board games, climbing, surfing, five-a-side, and an unreasonable amount of coffee. Anything where turning up beats scrolling.

BUILT FOR REAL LIFE

Mint is about meeting in person, not collecting followers.

You choose what you share. Your exact location is never shown to anyone else — people nearby see an approximate area, never a pin on your house. You can block or report anyone at any time, and delete your account and its data from inside the app.

Free to use.
