NexCal - Photo Macro Log

Understand meals without turning nutrition tracking into homework.

Take or choose a meal photo and NexCal estimates calories, protein, carbs, fat, and a simple health score. Save the meal, compare it with a same-craving swap idea, and build recipes with fixed portions so the numbers stay useful.

What NexCal helps with:

- Meal photo scanning with calorie and macro estimates
- Protein, carb, and fat tracking for saved meals
- Health score and smarter food swap suggestions
- Recipe ideas with ingredients, steps, prep time, and estimated nutrition
- Personalized daily calorie targets based on your body, activity, goal, and nutrition style
- Water logging with a daily cup target
- Weight logging and progress charts
- Daily balance with optional HealthKit active energy reads
- Metric and imperial units
- No account, no ads, no analytics SDKs, and no tracking SDKs

Built for realistic tracking:
NexCal is designed for quick, practical estimates. Food photos, portions, recipes, and AI outputs can be incomplete or wrong, so review results before relying on them.

AI features are optional:
Meal scanning and recipe suggestions use OpenAI only when you choose those features. NexCal does not operate an account system or developer analytics pipeline for your food logs.

Privacy-first by design:
Your profile, meals, recipes, water logs, weight entries, and meal photo thumbnails are stored on your device and may sync through your private iCloud account when enabled. NexCal does not sell or rent personal data and does not include advertising, analytics, tracking, or data broker SDKs.
