Not Bed: Voice Alarm

REQUIRES iOS 26 OR LATER. Not Bed uses AlarmKit, the iPhone's own alarm system,
which exists from iOS 26 onwards. On earlier iPhones the app is not offered.

Every alarm clock plays the same thing: a generic beep you have learned to
dismiss in your sleep. Not Bed replaces it with the one thing that actually gets
people out of bed — a familiar voice.

Record your mother shouting "get up!". Record yourself saying "you have a meeting
in 30 minutes". Record your kid, your coach, your business partner. Then just
pick that clip when you create the alarm.

HOW IT WORKS
• Tap the microphone and speak. Your recording is saved on the device.
• Create an alarm, set the time, the weekdays and the recording.
• At the scheduled time, your own voice is what plays.

WHAT YOU CAN DO
• Record as many clips as you want, each with its own name
• Create as many alarms as you want, each with a different clip
• Repeat by weekday, or ring just once
• Adjustable snooze, from 5 to 30 minutes
• Optional vibration
• Play a recording back before you trust it
• Sync alarms and recordings through your own iCloud, if you want to

THE ALARM REALLY RINGS
Not Bed uses AlarmKit, the iPhone's own alarm system: it plays at alarm volume,
cuts through the silent switch and Focus modes, and appears over the lock screen,
with stop and snooze buttons.

WHY iOS 26
AlarmKit arrived in iOS 26. It is what lets an outside app ring the way Apple's
own clock rings. Without it, the alarm would be an ordinary notification —
silenced by the ring/silent switch on exactly the night you needed it most.
Rather than ship an alarm clock that sometimes fails to wake you, we require
iOS 26.

YOUR DATA IS YOURS ALONE
We run no server. We ask for no account, e-mail or password. Your recordings live
on your device and, if you turn syncing on, in your own iCloud — a private space
in your Apple Account that not even we can open. No ads, no trackers.

FREE PLAN AND SUBSCRIPTION
Use it free with 1 recording and 1 alarm. If you want more, the subscription
unlocks unlimited recordings and alarms. The price is shown in the App Store in
your account's currency, and you can cancel any time in iPhone Settings.

IMPORTANT
An alarm clock depends on your phone's operating system. Keep alarm permission
granted to Not Bed. For commitments where being late is costly, also keep a
second, independent alarm.
