The Sunday Rundown
Three questions once a week. What was good. What was heavy. One thing you will do next week. You answer on your phone, your husband or wife answers on theirs, and once you have both written, each of you gets to read the other's.
That last sentence is the whole reason this tab exists. A weekly review is not really shared if the two of you have to pass one handset back and forth, because the second person never gets their own answers. Here your rundown is sealed with a key your two phones work out between them and posted to your own couple's feed. Sunday is the habit. Any day of the week counts.
Read this aloud — never a paid extra
Every reading on the Devotional tab has a Read this aloud button. Your phone's own voice reads the passage, the reflection and the reference. It is not gated, it is not listed as a Pro benefit, and it is not going to become one. If you are worn out, driving, or you simply take things in better by ear, press it.
Fifteen devotionals, chapter and verse
Fourteen live on the Devotional tab; the fifteenth is the verse of the week and sits on Today. Each is built on a passage from the World English Bible, which is public domain — so the words inside the quotation marks really are a published translation's words rather than something we wrote and dressed up as scripture. Genesis 2:24. Ecclesiastes 4:9-10. Proverbs 15:1. 1 Corinthians 13:4-5. Psalm 127:1. Every card names its passage, and Settings lists all fifteen references in one place.
Each reading closes on something to do rather than something to feel. "Next time it starts, change only your first sentence. Nothing else."
Ask, don't nag
One tap on Today asks your spouse to open the day's reading. They see it the next time they open Onefold. Onefold sends no phone notifications and never asks permission to — the card says that on its face instead of implying a buzz that is never coming.
Nothing to keep up
No streak. No counter to protect. No "you missed last Sunday". Skip three weeks and Onefold will not bring it up, because a devotional you are doing out of guilt has stopped being a devotional.
The question of the day
One question, private until you have both answered, then both sides open together. The decks are the awkward ones: forgiveness, money and home, family, and the line from your vows that turned out to be the hard one. What you write is encrypted on your own phone before it goes anywhere, and it stays in Our Record.
Onefold Pro
Pro opens the remaining eight questions inside those five decks. A single subscription covers both husband and wife, so only one of you buys it. Monthly or yearly, renewing until you cancel it from your App Store account; removing the app from your phone does not cancel anything. Pairing, the daily question, every devotional and read-aloud all sit outside Pro, permanently. The subscription is spelled out in full on the Terms page.
What Onefold is not
A devotional aid. Not pastoral counsel, and not a church. No pastor has reviewed these readings — the claim here is that every passage is cited and quoted from a translation you can go and check, not that anyone has signed off on them. Traditions read some of these texts differently from one another. For anything genuinely heavy, talk to your own pastor or a counsellor.
