OO Weather fetches forecasts from public APIs and keeps everything on your device. Your location is used only to request weather and is never stored on any server we operate. No accounts. No cloud. No sign-up.
How we built it:
- No Servers Exist. We never built infrastructure to receive your data. There is nothing to hack, subpoena, or sell.
- AES-256 Encryption. All data encrypted on-device with keys stored in your device's secure enclave.
- Open Source Core. Privacy-critical components are open-sourced on GitHub for anyone to audit.
What you get:
- Current conditions and multi-day forecast
- Clean, minimal interface with no clutter
- No sign-up, no login, no permissions you did not ask for
What you will never see:
- Ads, banners, or sponsored content
- Tracking pixels or analytics SDKs
