Description by OpenSky Software LLC(from the App Store)
Save hours every week running your homeschool.
OpenSky is the modern planner that automates scheduling, generates daily student checklists, and tracks progress in real time — so you can stop juggling spreadsheets and start focusing on what matters: teaching your kids.
PLAN WITHOUT THE OVERWHELM Add courses and curriculum as you go — no need to map out your entire year before day one. OpenSky builds your schedule automatically based on the courses you add, the days you want to teach, and the pace that works for your family. Works with any curriculum.
DAILY CHECKLISTS THAT KEEP SCHOOL MOVING Every morning, each student gets a clear, printable checklist of the day's lessons. Students check off work as they go. You see progress update in real time. No more asking "what do I do next?"
FLEXIBLE SCHEDULES THAT ADAPT TO REAL LIFE Took a snow day? Field trip to the zoo? Skip a day and OpenSky automatically recalculates your schedule — remaining lessons shift forward with one tap. No manual rework.
REAL-TIME PROGRESS TRACKING See exactly how your year is pacing across every subject. Visual progress indicators show what's done, what's coming, and whether you're on track — at a glance. Export records anytime for compliance or portfolio reviews.
STUDENT DASHBOARD Give your learners their own view with a password-free, email-free student portal. Gradually transfer responsibility at your pace. Comments and feedback features let students keep momentum without interrupting your workflow.
AI-POWERED COURSE SETUP Upload a curriculum PDF or photo and let OpenSky's AI extract your course plan automatically. Or browse community templates shared by other homeschool families to get started fast.
BUILT FOR HOMESCHOOL FAMILIES - Unlimited students on every plan - Works with any curriculum or teaching style - Automated record keeping and transcript generation - Monthly and weekly planning views - Community course templates - Real-time parent-student comments - Priority support via WhatsApp
