paylash: Split Costs

paylash splits expenses with the people you live, travel, or eat with — without the awkward math at the end. Add a bill, pick who paid, choose who shares it, and paylash works out who owes whom. Works offline for quick splits; sync across iPhone, iPad, Mac, and the web for groups.

Drop a bill amount, tap who paid, tap who's in — done. Single tap to share evenly, or itemize line by line if the bill mixes one person's drink with everyone's pizza. Tip, tax, and discount handled separately so the math is honest.

Snap a photo of the receipt. paylash reads the lines, prefills items and prices, and you assign each one to a person with a tap. No more "wait, what did you get?" guessing. (Receipt OCR works on iPhone and iPad; receipt photos sync to your other devices.)

GROUPS AND EVENTS

Make a Group for the roommates, the road trip, the weekly dinner. Inside each group, scope expenses to Events (a single trip, a single weekend) so settlement plans don't drag in last month's groceries. paylash auto-computes the simplest set of payments to settle up — fewer transfers, less confusion.

paylash runs natively on iPhone, iPad, and Mac. Sign in once; your groups and history follow. A read-only web mirror at paylash-app.web.app lets group members peek at the current state without installing anything.

English, Türkçe, Deutsch, Español, Italiano, Français. Switch language inside the app independently of your device language — handy if you split bills across mixed-language groups.

PUSH NOTIFICATIONS WHEN IT MATTERS

Get a push when someone adds an expense in your group, marks a settlement complete, or invites you to a new event. Per-event, per-group, never spammy. Notifications are localized to each recipient's preferred language.

FAIR AND PRIVATE

paylash is free. paylash Premium ($-per-month or per-year, with a free trial) lifts the free-tier caps: unlimited groups, unlimited members, unlimited events, PDF reports for tax season, and push notifications for receipts and settlements. Family Sharing is enabled — a single subscription covers the whole household.

We don't track you. No App Tracking Transparency prompt, no IDFA, no analytics SDK that follows you across apps. Your group names, expense descriptions, and receipt photos live on Firebase servers in the European Union (Belgium). Nothing is shared with third parties.

paylash means "share" in Turkish — the name is a small nod to where the project started, and to anyone splitting a bill anywhere.
