peerpressure helps you stay focused by turning digital detox into a group activity.

HOW IT WORKS
Create a focus session and invite friends via QR code. During the session, the app monitors phone usage and blocks selected apps using iOS Screen Time API. Group members can see when others pick up their devices, providing natural accountability.

Supports 144 apps across 10 categories including social media (Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat, Facebook), messaging (WhatsApp, Telegram, Discord), entertainment (YouTube, Netflix, Disney+, HBO Max), streaming services (Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music), shopping (Amazon, Marktplaats, Zalando), and popular Dutch apps (Tikkie, Albert Heijn, Thuisbezorgd.nl, ING, Rabobank, NS, Buienradar).

Group Coordination
• Real-time presence detection shows who's actively using their phone
• Activity feed displays blocking attempts within the group
• Emergency unlock requires 75% group approval
• Sessions shared via QR codes with 6-character backup codes

Focus Durations
Preset options from 30 minutes to 4+ hours, or choose indefinite duration.

Technical Implementation
Uses iOS Screen Time API (FamilyControls framework) for app blocking. All monitoring happens locally on your device - no personal content, conversations, or browsing history is accessed. Only basic session data (who's in the session, when blocking attempts occur) is shared with your session group.
