Description by Yu Suzuki(from the App Store)
Speak Japanese from Day 1.
Perapera is an AI-powered Japanese speaking practice app for English speakers. While other apps focus on tapping and matching, Perapera makes you speak — every single session.
— HOW IT WORKS — 1. Pick a category and difficulty level 2. See an English prompt, say the Japanese translation aloud 3. Get AI-powered scoring in seconds — clarity, grammar, naturalness, politeness 4. See word-by-word corrections and a politeness note 5. Listen to the model answer, save favorites, track your streak
— THREE WAYS TO PRACTICE — ■ INSTANT TRANSLATION Translate English prompts into spoken Japanese. Get scored on 4 axes: clarity, grammar, naturalness, politeness. Word-level corrections included.
■ SHADOWING Listen to native-quality model audio and shadow it. Get pronunciation scored on accuracy, fluency, and completeness — with word-by-word feedback that shows exactly where to improve. Or turn AI scoring off for unlimited free practice with playback only.
■ JAPANESE DIARY Speak or type your day in Japanese. AI rewrites it into natural phrasing and explains what changed.
