Mit Hilfe der Augmented Reality (AR) lernst du das Periodensystem der Elemente auf eine spannende interaktive Weise kennen. Auf dem Tisch oder auf dem Boden, draußen oder drinnen lässt sich das Periodensystem virtuell aufziehen, groß oder klein, ganz, wie es am besten passt.
Beliebige Elemente sind auswählbar und können mit ihren Werten verglichen werden. Für Anfänger werden die Atome in einer Schalendarstellung angezeigt. Durch einfaches Umschalten kann für Fortgeschrittene stattdessen die Orbitaldarstellung gewählt werden!
Zahlreiche Filter erlauben z. B. die Darstellung der Radioaktivität oder den Aggregatzustand der Elemente. Etliche Werte können quantitativ vergleichend angezeigt werden wie Masse, Elektronegativität, Dichte und vieles mehr.
Und du kannst deine eigenen Elemente bauen! Nimm dir so viele Neutronen, Protonen und Elektronen wie du brauchst und lasse dir in Echtzeit anzeigen, welches Element du zusammengestellt hast und ob es stabil und elektrisch neutral ist.
