No account, no sign-up. Your protocol stays on your device and syncs only through your own private iCloud, and your Ask PinPoint history is kept on the device and never synced. Nothing is sent until you tap Allow. When you ask a question, your message, your recent messages, and the relevant tracker context are sent, and PinPoint doesn't store any of it on its servers.
