There is an old-fashioned type of glass called checkered glass.
Looking at things through this glass makes them appear like pixel art, which became a popular topic for a while.

This camera app converts the image in the center to look like pixel art in real-time, similar to viewing through checkered glass.

Most of the time, it will only show something that looks like noise. But sometimes, it creates interesting pixel art effects.
If you want to keep an image, press the clip button to save it.
