The calculations and algorithm used in Plnktn are developed based on the Global Footprint Network's Consumption Land Use Matrix (https://www.footprintnetwork.org/licenses/) and derived from National Footprint Accounts (http://data.footprintnetwork.org), which is the most widely used source of Ecological Footprint data worldwide.
