Prompter is not a video production suite. It is a focused script reading tool for videos, speeches, lessons, and presentations.
One-time paid app. No subscriptions. No in-app purchases.
Script formatting and timing
- Choose Normal or Performance mode.
- Use headings, bold text, lists and quotes in Performance mode.
- Set section speeds, timed pauses and notes separate from the spoken text.
- Calculate pace from your target time, including the start delay and planned pauses. Chapter timing is automatic by default.
- After manual scrolling or a speed adjustment, choose to recalculate for the time left when needed. The timing is not redistributed automatically.
- Read Tracking uses the microphone to fade text you have read. It does not control scrolling.
- When the app’s display language is Japanese, you can choose Noto Sans JP. Existing scripts keep their font and speed settings.
Read Tracking is available on supported devices and in supported languages. Recognition follows the app’s display language, and availability depends on support from Apple’s on-device speech recognition models.
