Punching: Live Sticker Camera

Turn the moment you hold into a moving sticker.
Punching is a camera app that tears off whatever you see through the lens as a sticker.

Line up the scene in the hole-puncher window in the middle of the screen and press and hold. You get a sticker that captures the short motion just before and after your press. If there’s a subject to cut out, like a person, a pet or an object, only that subject is cut out; if there isn’t, like a landscape, it’s punched out as a stamp with a perforated edge.

Here’s what you can do

Send from Messages and the keyboard
Punched stickers appear in the sticker drawer in Messages, and once you turn on the Punching keyboard you can pick and paste them in other apps too. Moving stickers are sent moving.

Copy and send in one tap
Tap send right after punching, or touch and hold a sticker to copy it and paste it anywhere.

Change the shape and motion any time
Even after punching, you can switch between the cut-out and stamp shapes, and between motion and still. Your original photo is kept as it was.

A look and a few words
Choose a look from Original, Sepia, Black & White, Faded, Vivid and Cyan, and leave a short note on each sticker. The date and place you punched it are saved too.

A sticker book for every theme
Create books by theme and pick stickers book by book in Messages and the keyboard. Choose pages like kraft, grid, lined or parchment, and arrange the order however you like.

Print real stickers
Turn a book into a printable PDF with stamp-shaped cut lines and print it straight onto sticker paper.

Import from Photos
Turn photos you took earlier into stickers and add them to a book.

All your stickers and photos are stored only on your device.
