Pura: Ingredient Label Scanner

Snap the ingredient list on the back of any food, skincare or supplement, and Pura checks it against your list: allergies, gluten, dairy, nuts, sesame, alpha-gal or anything you add.

Store brand, no barcode, or brand new? If it has an ingredient list printed on it, Pura can read it.

You see the exact words it found, like milk powder for dairy or tahini for sesame, so you can check the line yourself.

WHAT PURA DOES
- Checks the label against your own list, not a general score.
- Spots hidden names, like malt extract for gluten or tahini for sesame.
- Shows "may contain" and "made in a facility" lines as a warning that names each allergen.
- Keeps one list for each person you shop for, so you can check a product for your child or partner.
- Tells you what it read: when nothing on your list is in the ingredients it read, it says that, and how many ingredients it read.
- Answers follow-up questions about the product, like whether "no added sugar" means sugar free.
- Works on skincare, haircare and supplements too, including capsule ingredients like gelatin.

No account needed. After your first scan you can buy Pura Premium (weekly or yearly) or a pack of scan credits. Prices are listed under In-App Purchases on this page and shown in the app before you pay. You pay through Apple and can cancel any time in Settings.

ABOUT YOUR RESULTS
Pura reads what is printed on the label you photograph. Labels can be incomplete or hard to read, and Pura can make mistakes, so always check the packaging too. A label check can't rule out an allergen that isn't printed, or cross-contact. Pura gives information, not medical advice, diagnosis or treatment.

Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel your subscription in your App Store account settings.
