This app is in Arabic only. The Qur'anic verses and the hadith are set with full vocalisation.

Rifq is one line a day about how to carry yourself with other people: a verse, an authenticated hadith, a saying of the early generations, or a proverb from the Arabs. One line. No list to finish, no streak to break, no counter blaming you for a day you missed.

■ One line, no more
A new text every morning, on a page holding nothing else, set in a classical Arabic face. One gesture moves you between days.

■ On your screen, not in an app you open
A home screen and lock screen widget, and a daily reminder at an hour you choose. Both carry the text in full, not a message asking you to come back.

■ Give it to someone
A card standing on a place you choose: cloud, rainbow, dunes, mountains, sea, waterfall. Send it in a conversation exactly as it is.

■ Half the library is Arabic proverbs
No proverb attributed to the wrong people. Every hadith carries its grading, sahih or hasan. Nothing is published without a review by a named human being.

■ No account, no server
No sign in, and no internet needed to read the day's text. The text is a function of the date: it is the same on every device in the world that day.

■ Subscription
Rifq is a paid app. You begin with a free trial from Apple: seven days with the yearly plan, three with the monthly. Or buy it once and own it, with no renewal. Renewal, charge timing and cancellation are written out in full under the purchase button inside the app.
