Robot72 - SSTV Decoder

Robot72 is a slow-scan television (SSTV) encoder and decoder for iPhone. Listen to amateur radio SSTV transmissions and decode them into images, or send your own photos as audio that any SSTV receiver can pick up.

【Why Robot72】

Built for radio enthusiasts: Robot72 is designed for amateur radio operators, SWLs, ISS pass watchers, and anyone curious about how images travel as sound. Auto-detection means you do not need to know the mode in advance — just tap Listen and the app figures it out.

Private by design: SSTV processing runs entirely on your device. Robot72 sends only privacy-minimized product interaction events that are not linked to your identity, helping us improve onboarding and core features. Photos, audio, and history stay on your device. Optional rewarded videos are requested as non-personalized ads; there are no banners or pop-ups. Robot72 does not use its analytics data to track you across apps or websites.

Full SSTV mode coverage: Robot 36, Robot 72, PD 50/90/120/160/180/240/290, Martin 1/2/3/4, Scottie 1/2/3/4/DX, SC2 30/60/120/180, Wraase, AVT 24/90/94/125/188 and more — 25+ modes in total.

【Features】

• Auto-detect incoming SSTV mode from the VIS code
• Decode live audio from the microphone, or import a WAV file
• Encode any photo into SSTV audio and play it through the speaker or export as WAV
• Decode history with thumbnails, mode, and timestamp for every entry
• Share or save decoded images and exported audio files

【Pro】

Robot72 includes a free tier for everyday use. The optional Pro upgrade unlocks the full library of SSTV modes for transmission, removes the watermark from sent images, and lifts the history cap. Pro is a one-time purchase — no subscription. Not ready to buy? Watch a short video to unlock any Pro mode for one send — up to 3 times a day.
