Rulane combines VPN profile management, proxy configuration tools, network diagnostics, and log analysis in one app. Whether a website cannot connect, a routing rule is not working as expected, or a connection keeps dropping, Rulane helps you inspect the results and identify what to check next.

VPN AND PROXY CONFIGURATION

Import supported configurations from a file, pasted link, or QR code. Review parsing results, compatibility details, and duplicate nodes before saving anything.

You can also inspect imported content without adding it to the app, helping you verify a configuration before use.

NETWORK DIAGNOSTICS

Run practical checks for common connection problems:

• Test website connectivity
• Review the active configuration
• Analyze routing rules for a specific destination
• Investigate unstable connections through connection events
• Check connection status and session traffic
• View live upload and download rates

Basic configuration checks and network tests remain available even when an AI model is not ready.

LOG ANALYZER

Search connection logs and filter warnings or errors to quickly locate relevant events. Use the built-in AI assistant to explain selected log entries, interpret diagnostic results, and suggest what to check next.

PRIVATE ON-DEVICE AI

On compatible devices, AI processing runs locally. You can ask questions in English or Chinese, review explanations, and continue with follow-up questions in the same conversation.

Packet contents and stored node credentials are not provided to the AI model. AI-generated responses are for reference and may contain errors.

YOU REMAIN IN CONTROL

Rulane can perform checks, explain results, and suggest next steps, but it does not automatically change your settings.

Saving imported configurations and applying supported fixes always require your confirmation.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Rulane is a VPN and proxy client utility. It does not provide VPN servers, proxy nodes, subscriptions, or data plans. To establish a connection, you must import a valid configuration from a service you are authorized to use.

AI availability depends on device compatibility, operating system, region, language, and model readiness. Some models may require an additional download and available device storage. The initial model download requires internet access.

Network tests, VPN connections, and configuration updates require appropriate network access.
