PREVIEW BEFORE YOU COMMIT

Never guess about quality. See exactly how your optimized media will look with side-by-side comparisons. Inspect details before saving. Your photos, your control.

SMART TASK SYSTEM

Create custom optimization tasks for specific albums, folders, or file types. Target exactly the media you want with filters for dates, file sizes, and more. Sami optimizes only what you choose.

AUTOMATE EVERYTHING

Set tasks to run automatically on a schedule or trigger them from Apple Shortcuts. Optimize new photos daily, compress videos before backups, or run tasks when you arrive home. Set it and forget it.

FULL SHORTCUTS & SIRI SUPPORT

Sami's whole job system is scriptable from the Shortcuts app: create optimization tasks with real filters (media types, age, minimum size, quality, video codec and resolution caps), list your tasks, check their status, and queue them to run. The Optimize Media action runs photos, videos, and PDFs straight through Sami's optimizers with the preference profile you choose and hands the optimized files to the next action. You can even read or change Sami's settings from a shortcut, and your tasks show up in Spotlight search.
