YOUR WEEK AS CARDS
See your week as a stack of cards, with today's workout in front. Tap a card to see its exercises and start the workout.
Give every workout its own design, on the card, during the workout and in the widget on your Home Screen.
Share a finished workout as a story or as a sticker for your own photo.
WHAT YOU KNOW AFTERWARDS
Which exercise was too light. Per exercise: did your reps land in the target, too light, too heavy or at the top.
Whether you're getting stronger. One verdict per exercise: stronger, same or weaker, from your second training week.
Which muscle gets too little. Working sets per muscle group and week, with the 10-20 mark as a line (dose-response meta-analysis, Schoenfeld 2017). Warm-up sets don't count.
How hard it was. Enter how many reps you had left after the last set (RIR). Satzwerk shows the share of hard sets against the four weeks before.
25 weeks as a grid, plus an archive with every session and every set.
A FINDING, NEVER AN INSTRUCTION
Satzwerk tells you what your data says. Never what to do. No weight suggestion. The decision stays with you or your coach.
DURING THE WORKOUT
What you did last time is already there, in grey.
Your workout stays on the lock screen. Check the set off there, without opening the app (iOS 17 and up).
YOUR BODY IS PART OF THE TRAINING
Weight as a weekly average, Monday to Sunday, because a single morning says nothing.
Body fat from three skinfolds (Jackson & Pollock), four skinfolds (Durnin & Womersley) or from your scale.
Measurements with their own breakdown, and a curve of its own for your waist.
Phases with a target rate and the calorie number that fits that rate.
PLANS AND GYMS
Keep several plans side by side. The library has 223 exercises, your own names work too.
Pick one of twelve templates for gym, dumbbells or no equipment, for beginners or advanced, and take it as a copy. Satzwerk recommends none of them.
Edit this week and next without changing your plan: move workouts, add one on a rest day or mark a training break.
Satzwerk keeps your gyms apart, down to what you did there last time.
Pass your plan on to your training partner as plain text.
SATZWERK PRO
Included without Pro: plans and the plan library, workouts with last time's numbers and the lock screen, two card designs, weight with weekly average and pace, archive, backup and export.
Pro unlocks the analysis: progression, sets per muscle, intensity, RIR and gyms. For your body: body fat, measurements, phases, goals and calories. Plus all seven card designs and your progression in the shared image.
30 days of Pro are on us. They start with your first completed workout and end by themselves: nothing to cancel, no payment.
Satzwerk Pro comes monthly or yearly. It renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can cancel any time in your Apple ID settings.
Your own data is never locked. Whatever you logged stays visible, with or without Pro.
YOUR DATA
Everything runs on your iPhone. Satzwerk asks once whether to keep a backup in your own iCloud. You can switch it in your profile at any time. A backup as a file and CSV export on top.
Apple Health receives your workouts, weight and body fat, each with its own switch. If you turn it on, Satzwerk reads only your weight.
English and German, kg and lb, light and dark.
WHO IT'S FOR
For people who train seriously, from their first plan of their own to their tenth year of training.
