SeaSpotters is a community map of marine life — a live, date-sorted feed of what people are actually seeing in the water. Divers, swimmers, fishers, sailors and beachgoers share what they spot, and you can explore it all on one map.

WHAT YOU CAN DO
• Browse a live map and list of recent sightings — dolphins, whales, sharks, jellyfish, turtles, fish and more
• Report what you saw in seconds, with a photo and a drop-on-the-map location
• Filter by species, area and time
• Comment, discuss, and tap "I saw this too" to corroborate a sighting
• Save sightings and see what's happening near you

TRUST YOU CAN SEE
Every post is clearly labelled Confirmed or Unverified, so you always know how much to trust it. A single report starts unverified; when independent reports of the same animal line up — or an expert reviews it — it becomes confirmed. We label trust; we never fake it.

SAFETY FIRST, ALWAYS
Dangerous jellyfish blooms, a shark near a swimming beach, and other hazards are published immediately and shown at full precision. Safety alerts are never hidden, never delayed, never buried — whatever else is going on.

PROTECTING WILDLIFE
For sensitive or vulnerable species, exact locations may be gently coarsened to keep animals safe from disturbance — while hazards always stay precise. Two clocks, one principle: protect wildlife, protect people.

COMMUNITY & CONTROL
Sign in with Apple, Google, or email. Report or block content that doesn't belong, and delete your account and data anytime from Settings.

Starting in the Mediterranean and growing worldwide, SeaSpotters is free and open to everyone who loves the sea.
