Every other alarm app has the same problem: you have to touch your phone to turn it off. On Shabbos and Yom Tov, that's not an option.
Shabbat Clock & Alarms solves this with alarms that stop themselves — automatically, after a time you set in advance. No touching. No interaction. Just set it before Shabbos and rest easy.
FEATURES
• Automatic Shabbat times — candle lighting and Havdalah times for any city in the world, calculated from your location
• Live countdown — shows exactly how long until Shabbos begins or Havdalah
• Weekly parasha — displayed every week
• Alarms that stop themselves — set a 1, 2, 3, or 5 minute auto-stop duration
• Multiple alarms — create as many as you need
• Flexible scheduling:
– Weekly (pick any days — great for regular Shabbos)
– Single date (great for one day of Yom Tov)
– Date range (great for multi-day Yom Tov or back-to-back Shabbos + Yom Tov)
• Nightstand mode — when Shabbos begins, the app automatically switches to a full-screen clock so you can place your phone on the nightstand and see the time at a glance
• Beautiful design — warm cream in light mode, deep navy and gold in dark mode, automatic based on your iPhone settings
HOW TO USE
Set your alarms before Shabbos. Keep the app open on your nightstand (the screen stays on automatically). When an alarm fires, it plays a chime and stops on its own. You never need to touch your phone.
For best results:
• Turn your silent switch OFF before Shabbos
• Keep the app open on screen during Shabbos
• Enable notifications in Settings for background reliability
