Create a clean, transparent signature on your Mac and reuse it in any document.

Signature turns your trackpad, mouse or pen tablet into a signing pad. Draw your signature, save it, and it is ready to paste into Pages, Preview, Mail, Word and more. No scanning, no printing.

IMPORTANT: Signature captures your signature from a trackpad, mouse or pen tablet. It does not use the camera.

HOW IT WORKS
1. Open Signature (or press Control + Option + S from any app).
2. Draw your signature on the pad with your trackpad, mouse or pen tablet.
3. Press Return or tap the check button to save.
4. Paste it with Command + V, or drag it from the gallery into your document.

WHAT YOU GET
- A transparent PNG, so your signature sits cleanly on any page
- Trimmed to the ink, so it fits small signature fields
- Copied to the clipboard automatically when you save
- Undo the last stroke with Command + Z
- Smoother lines from shaky trackpad or mouse input
- A small ring shows exactly where your pen is while you draw on the trackpad
- A gallery of saved signatures: copy, drag out, show in Finder or delete
- Choose pen color, background color and stroke width
- Choose the size of the pasted image, from 25% to 200%
- Open at login, and a keyboard shortcut to bring the pad forward from any app
- Everything stays on your Mac: no account, no internet connection, no data collected

TIPS
- Look at your trackpad, not the screen, as you sign.
- Keep a second finger off the trackpad while drawing. Two fingers clear the pad.
- Press Shift + Esc whenever you want your pointer back. It returns to the middle of the pad.
- Saving or clearing also gives your pointer back.
