Sol Glow is a sun-safety-first planner for time outside. It estimates a personalized session length from the live local UV index, the weather, your skin type, and your SPF — then runs a live timer that reminds you when to flip, reapply, and hydrate. The safest amount of UV exposure is none, so every plan is capped to discourage overexposure. Here's how it works.

1. TELL SOL GLOW ABOUT YOU
A quick onboarding learns your skin type, sensitivity, and the kind of time outside you're after. You can add your sunscreens, oils, and sprays once, with their SPF and water resistance.

2. CHECK TODAY'S SUN
The home screen shows the live UV index, cloud cover, and your burn risk for your location — so you know what you're walking into before you go out.

3. GET A PLAN FOR RIGHT NOW
Pick your goal and Sol Glow builds a session length from real-time UV, your skin profile, and the SPF you're wearing. Every plan is capped under a personalized burn-risk threshold to discourage overexposure.

4. RUN THE LIVE TIMER
Start your glow and the app counts down to each step:
- Flip reminders, front and back
- Reapply reminders timed to your sunscreen's SPF and water resistance
- Hydration nudges
- A clear "wind down" so you don't overdo it
