Soso: Tween Period Tracker

Soso is the first period tracker that starts before the first period. It follows the signs of puberty, estimates when hers is coming, and becomes a full cycle tracker from there.

We built Soso as parents. When our daughter started asking about her body, every app we found was made for adults, with language and features that were wrong for a first experience.

“When is my first period coming?”

It is the question girls ask us hundreds of times a week, and the one most period apps cannot answer, because they only start working once periods do.

Soso answers it. A few questions at the start, and she gets an estimate of when her first period is likely to arrive, in words written for her age. Then it narrows. Every sign she records pulls the window tighter, which is how predicting a first period is actually done: not one guess, but changes followed over time.
