Clear HealthKit boundaries
• Only steps are read. Steps, walking + running distance, and workouts are saved. Height and weight are not read.
• Every entry saves steps, estimated distance, and a workout. Walking and brisk walking use Walking; running uses Running.
• Height, weight, speed, calories, mood, and notes stay locally in StepFox. Estimated distance and activity times are saved to Apple Health with the entry.
• Mood and notes never enter Health or leave the device
• StepFox explains where to enable step access when needed
• It never reads body weight or writes estimated energy to Health
• Deletion affects only samples created by StepFox, never other sources

Ads do not block core features
The free version shows banners on Add Steps, Challenges, Energy, and Records, plus a dismissible interstitial after every third successful Health write. A rewarded ad gives one ad-free hour and is required before a free user clears a day. Entry and Challenges still work if ads fail or tracking is denied.

Monthly and yearly auto-renewable subscriptions remove ads and unlock every fox. Core Health entry, records, and Challenges stay free.

• Payment is charged to your Apple ID at purchase confirmation
• Renewal is automatic unless disabled at least 24 hours before the period ends; the account is charged within those final 24 hours
• Manage or cancel in App Store account settings

Personalized ads are disabled. Steps, activity, speed, challenge goals, and HealthKit content are not sent to advertising or analytics services.

Distance, speed, duration, and energy are estimates, not sensor or medical measurements. Energy includes only StepFox entries, not steps recorded automatically by iPhone or Apple Watch. StepFox offers no diagnosis or treatment advice.
