ALL YOUR TRAINING ON ONE PAGE
Today's planned sessions, the Log button and your diary are on one page. The diary shows every session week by week, with how far you ran. Tap the calendar at the top to go to a day or to search your sessions. Insights, Records and Races are one tap away.
RACE PREDICTIONS FROM YOUR TRAINING
StrideBuddy uses AI to read your diary and predict your race times. Each prediction has a range and a confidence level: low, medium or high. A chart shows how each prediction has changed, for up to 6 months.
You get predictions for your main event and for related numbers. For example, an 800m runner sees the 800m, 400m and 1500m, plus critical speed, VO2max and top speed. Your first predictions can appear after you log 5 sessions, and they update as you log more training. A prediction is an estimate, not a promise.
A TRAINING WEEK FOR YOUR SEASON
In Plan, StrideBuddy uses AI to build your training week. It uses your event, your recent training, the days you can train and your race calendar. It plans recovery between hard sessions and makes training harder step by step. Some weeks are easier on purpose. After a break, the plan brings you back to training slowly.
Plans follow modern periodization. This means the focus of your training changes during the season, while you keep the qualities your event needs.
Season status shows where you are in your season. This week explains the focus of your next sessions.
Each running or strength session explains why it is in the plan, how it should feel and how it helps your event. Strength sessions include exercise guides. Some sessions include time or pace targets, when your results and training history support them.
If your day changes, tap Change on a session. You can say you can't train that day, ask for an easier or shorter session, or move it to another day. Read the proposed change before you accept it.
Plan and race predictions use AI. Both are optional and free, with usage limits. Plan is in beta. They need an internet connection and AI features turned on. Your saved plans and predictions stay available offline.
LOG YOUR TRAINING IN DETAIL
Tap Log to add a session for today or an earlier day, or to plan one ahead.
- Structured sessions with blocks, reps, splits and recoveries
- Continuous runs with distance, time, pace, effort and notes
- Strength work with exercises, sets, reps, weight or time
- Race results for flat, hurdles and steeplechase events
- Quick Note for drills, strides, warmups or anything else
Structured sessions support hurdles, steeplechase, hills and active recoveries. You can also add how hard the session felt, the weather and the surface.
YOUR RACES
Add your upcoming races and mark how important each one is for your season. Races shows every race ahead and how many days are left.
RACE PRS AND TRAINING RECORDS
Records shows your fastest reps and race results. See this season's records or your all-time records, and your best times across distances.
Hurdle and steeplechase reps have their own records, apart from flat reps. Your 400m and 400m hurdles race records also stay apart.
YOUR DIARY AND ACCOUNT
StrideBuddy is free. You need an account. Sign in with Apple or Google to sync your diary across devices and get it back if you reinstall the app. Your saved diary works offline and syncs when you are back online.
Made for adult sprinters, hurdlers, middle-distance and distance runners, and steeplechasers. StrideBuddy helps you make training decisions. It does not replace your coach. It is not a medical device.
