Sunzy: Sun Tracker

Sunzy shows where the sun is, where it is headed, and when the light is worth going outside.

Open the day as a dome, a compass, or a band of light. Drag through the hours of this week, save places, and keep sunrise and sunset on your Home Screen, Lock Screen, and Live Activity.

TODAY
Watch the path change as you move through the day. Sunrise, solar noon, and sunset stay tied to where you are, or to any place you save. Sunzy PRO opens the rest of the year, including the equinoxes and solstices.

PHOTOGRAPHY
Morning and evening golden hour, blue hour, and a reminder 15, 30, or 60 minutes before the light starts. First light through last light, in one list.

SHADE, GARDENS, AND HOMES
A shade forecast for the spot you are standing in. Direct sun for a garden, counted against the surrounding skyline. Hours of sun on north, east, south, and west windows. Shadow length for a person, an umbrella, a tree, or a building.

SOLAR PANELS
Which way to face them, a tilt that fits your latitude, the best tilt for today, and how close the sun is to peak right now.

MAP
Search a place and read rise, noon, and set there. The standard map is free, in 2D or 3D. Sunzy PRO adds satellite and a shade layer that shows where buildings block the sun.

SKY
Hold up the phone and see the sun’s path in the real sky: the horizon, the hours, and which way to turn. Sky is part of Sunzy PRO.

WIDGETS AND LIVE ACTIVITY
Altitude, shadow length, and the day’s sunrise, golden hour, and sunset on the Home Screen and Lock Screen. A Live Activity keeps the next solar event on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island. When the phone is connected to a car, that activity follows the place you are passing through.

PLACES AND ALERTS
Save places and compare their sunrise and sunset. Turn on alerts for morning golden hour, evening golden hour, and blue hour.

Sun times are calculated on your device. Location is used to place the sun where you are, and, while the phone is connected to a car, to keep the Live Activity current.
