Terpe: Vocab & Flashcards

Terpe turns the vocabulary list from class into cards you can study, and gets you ready for the test.

SNAP THE LIST
Photograph a vocabulary list, a glossary or a fact box, and Terpe makes the cards on your iPhone or iPad. You see them all before the deck is saved, and words the camera may have misread turn yellow so you can fix them. A page of a book doesn't become cards: Terpe only uses what's printed as a list, so there are no made-up questions.

READY FOR THE TEST
Pick the day of your test. Terpe spreads the new cards over the days left, goes through every card once more the day before, and shows how many have stuck. Test tomorrow? You get them all today.

FIVE WAYS TO STUDY
• Learn: spaced repetition (FSRS) that starts with multiple choice and moves on to typing the answer once a word sticks
• Test: up to 20 questions with a grade, and what you missed at the end
• Cards: flip and swipe
• Match: find the pairs against the clock
• Quiz me: someone else holds the phone and asks you, you answer out loud

LEARNS FROM YOUR MISTAKES
Pick "sister" when it says "Bruder", and Terpe tells you what "sister" belongs to and asks the two cards back to back. A missing accent or a typo counts as almost right.

SMALL HELPERS ON YOUR IPHONE
On an iPhone or iPad with Apple Intelligence, Terpe suggests a fix for words the camera misread, and asks whether a typed answer may be right too (a synonym). It runs on the device, and you always decide.
