Texture Loom is a touch-first dual-sample instrument for iPad. Load two sounds, shape their playback regions, blend them together, and weave motion through granular engines, filters, pitch, modulation, and space.
Built for ambient music, cinematic sound design, drones, and experimental performance, Texture Loom 1.5 keeps complex movement visible and playable. Its redesigned Grain page puts the controls where your hands expect them, while the unified modulation matrix shows active legacy and matrix routes in one scrollable view. Amber modulation rings and responsive filter HUDs make it clear what is moving and why.
Texture Loom includes:
- Two independent sample engines with level, pan, playback region, reverse, fade, rate, and semitone modes
- Dual granular engines with position, scan, size, density, spray, width, jitter, sync, and divisions
- Expressive A/B blending and master output control
- Two filters with serial or parallel routing
- Touch-responsive filter displays for cutoff and resonance
- Dual motion LFOs with tempo-sync divisions, shapes, and flexible destinations
- A readable, scrollable modulation matrix with bipolar amounts
- Spatial processing designed for wide, evolving atmospheres
- A curated factory preset library
- User preset, portable preset, and bank import/export workflows
- Standalone operation and an AUv3 instrument for compatible iPad music hosts
- Shared user presets between the standalone app and AUv3 extension
Requires iPadOS 17 or later. Landscape orientation only.
