The Stud Finder helps locate studs behind drywall by detecting magnetic changes caused by nails and screws inside the wall.
How it works
Tap Scan
Slide your phone slowly along the wall
Watch the meter react as metal fasteners are detected
Listen for the alert sound when a stud is found
Tips for best results
Move slowly and keep your phone flat against the wall
Scan from both directions and mark where peaks overlap
For extra accuracy, find the most sensitive spot on the back of your phone (magnetometer location varies by model)
