Description by Tiago Ferreira de Lemos(from the App Store)
Quit gambling for good this time.
Ungamble is a quit-gambling app built for bettors. No lectures, no judgment. A simple system that gets you through the next urge, and the one after that, until betting is something you used to do.
THE UNGAMBLE SHIELD Block over 516,000+ gambling and betting sites in three steps, in under five minutes. No computer, no downloads, and it works in every browser on your iPhone, not just Safari. Found a site we should block? Send it straight from Safari's Share sheet and it stops loading before the sheet closes. Think we blocked something wrong? Send a request from inside the app and we'll fix it the same day.
THE PANIC BUTTON When an urge hits, hit the red button. The video you recorded for yourself plays first. Then Rux takes over: breathe it out, read your reasons, talk it through, or call your contact. Most urges pass in under 20 minutes. The panic button gets you to the other side.
A STREAK THAT TELLS THE TRUTH One minute a day. Mood, urges, done. Clean days build your streak and milestones you keep even if you slip. Beating an urge counts extra, because it is the harder win. The streak is never inflated, which is exactly why it works.
RUX, IN YOUR CORNER Rux is a AI friend trained on the science of quitting. Rux knows what you bet on, when you are most at risk, and why you are quitting, and tells you what you need to hear, not what you want to hear. Any hour, especially the bad ones.
SEE THROUGH THE HOUSE Short breakdowns on the playbook casinos use to keep you hooked, why almost winning keeps you playing, and the math behind every bet and why it's a losing game disguised as skill. Once you see the machine, it stops working on you.
BUILT TO GET YOU OUT, NOT KEEP YOU HOOKED - No gambling ads, no casino money, ever - Never a charge to unlock after a relapse - Your future-self video never leaves your phone - Delete all your data in one tap
Day 1 starts the moment you download.
Ungamble is a self-help tool, not medical care, and no outcome is guaranteed. If you are in crisis, call or text 1-800-GAMBLER (US), free, any hour.
