Description
Practice the official 2025 USCIS civics test on iPhone — the version operative for naturalization applications filed on or after October 20, 2025.
The real test is oral, but most people study by reading and self-quizzing. This app turns every official USCIS question into a four-option multiple-choice card. You see the question, tap the right answer, and we show you the full list of acceptable answers USCIS will accept on test day.
WHAT YOU GET • All 128 official 2025 questions (M-1778) • Multiple-choice study cards — one correct answer plus three plausible distractors per question • Learn mode — browse, bookmark, and review every question at your own pace • Test mode — random 20-question quiz that mirrors the USCIS pass threshold (12 of 20 to pass) • 65/20 special-consideration filter — practice just the 20 starred questions designated for senior applicants • State-specific answers — pick your state once and the senator, governor, and state-capital questions auto-populate (50 states + DC) • Updated state data — senators, governors, and capital changes ship to your phone over the air without an App Store update • Spanish translation of every question (unofficial — for understanding only; the actual interview is in English)
ABOUT THE 2025 TEST The 2025 version of the USCIS civics test is operative for naturalization filings on or after October 20, 2025. It is the successor to the 2008 100-question test for new filings. We use the official M-1778 (09/25) document published by USCIS as the source for question text and acceptable answers.
The actual USCIS interview is administered orally by an officer; this app is a study aid, not a simulation of the live exam. The acceptable-answers list shown after each question matches USCIS's published key, so you'll know every wording the officer will accept.
Note: The U.S. Representative question is per-district, not per-state. The app handles it as a reference card with a deep-link to the official House.gov "Find Your Representative" lookup.
LIVE-DATA QUESTIONS A few questions (Speaker of the House, President, Vice President, Chief Justice) change between elections and appointments. The app links directly to USCIS's official "Test Updates" page so you always answer with the current name.
