Virtual Wind tunnel:PocketAERO

Virtual wind tunnel testing, in the palm of your hand. Supervised by a racing car aerodynamics engineer.

Put a car in the wind and tap one button. See how the air flows and where the pressure on the car is high or low. Drag and downforce are shown as clear numbers.
No expertise required at all.

NOT JUST AN ANIMATION
The same kind of aerodynamic simulation used in the development of race cars and production cars, made for hobbyists and running right on your iPhone. Results in a minute or two.

WHAT YOU CAN DO
- Test 6 built-in cars, from a 1920s classic to a modern supercar
- Get drag and downforce as clear numbers
- Watch smoke, streamlines and a color map of air pressure on the body
- Change the speed and add a crosswind
- Slice through the air to see what happens behind and under the car
- Compare two shapes side by side
- Save a report or share a picture of your result

Everything with the 6 built-in cars is free.

SCAN YOUR OWN CAR (paid plan)
Take 1 to 4 photos of a real car. PocketAERO turns them into a 3D model and puts it straight into the wind tunnel. You can also load your own 3D file (STL). Each scan uses one credit. Choose a plan with 3, 9 or 15 scans per month, billed monthly or annually. Credits reset each month with no rollover, including annual plans. If you cancel, access continues until your paid subscription period ends. Restore Purchases restores your subscription and remaining credits.

BEFORE YOU START
- On older devices, calculations and visual effects may take longer.
- Use it for tuning ideas, for learning at schools and universities, or as a hobby. It does not replace a real wind tunnel or professional engineering software.

SUBSCRIPTION
PocketAERO Pro is available monthly or yearly. Payment is charged to your Apple Account. The subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel it in your Apple Account settings.
