Voxa: Live Translate

Voxa turns your iPhone into a pocket interpreter. Speak, and the translation appears instantly — on screen and, if you like, read aloud. Snap a menu or a sign to see it translated, or type a message and translate it in one tap.

INTERPRET
Keep the mic on and follow along live. The original speech scrolls on the top half of the screen and the translation on the bottom half — great for guided tours, talks, lectures, meetings and classes. Voxa can detect the spoken language automatically. Put on headphones to hear the translation read aloud as people speak.

CONVERSATION
Each person holds the button for their own language, speaks, and lets go — the translation appears right away and can be read aloud. Choose hold-to-talk or tap-to-talk, and replay any translation with one tap.

FACE TO FACE
Lay the phone flat between you. The top half turns around for the other person, so each of you reads the conversation in your own language.

PHOTO TRANSLATION
Take a photo — or choose one from your library — of a menu, sign, notice or manual. Voxa returns a translated image that keeps the original layout. Zoom in to read the details, then share it or save it to Photos.

TEXT TRANSLATION
Two text boxes, one language each. Type in either box and tap Translate to put it into the other language — handy for writing messages and reading notices.

LANGUAGES
Interpret and Conversation support 60 languages, including English, Chinese, Cantonese, Japanese, Korean, Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, Italian, Russian, Arabic, Hindi, Thai, Vietnamese, Indonesian and Turkish. Photo translation supports more than 50 languages, and text translation more than 70.

NATURAL VOICES
Hear translations in a natural AI voice, or use the system voice.

MEMBERSHIP
New accounts get free trial minutes. Voxa Membership (monthly or yearly) includes 60 minutes of interpreting and conversation every month; minutes are valid for the month they are issued and do not roll over. Members can also buy extra minute packs. Photo and text translation are free for members and don't use any minutes; non-members can try them for free. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple Account settings.

PRIVACY
Recognition and translation are powered by cloud AI. While you use Voxa, microphone audio, the photos you take or choose, and the text you enter are sent securely to our servers to produce subtitles and translations. Location and other capture details are removed from photos before upload.
