Description by Byoungho Kim(from the App Store)
Watch web video on the big screen. No file transfers, no switching apps — just play the video in the browser and it lands on your Chromecast or DLNA smart TV.
WebCast is a browser built around casting. It finds the playable streams on a page (MP4, HLS, DASH) and sends them to your TV in one tap.
■ How it works 1. Open any video site 2. Tap the cast button to pick a Chromecast or TV on the same Wi‑Fi 3. Press play on the page — it goes straight to your TV
■ Features • Auto-cast once connected — pressing play sends it to the TV (switchable in Settings) • Automatic video detection — MP4, HLS, DASH, including embedded players • Quality selection — Auto, or pick 720p / 1080p and more • Subtitles (CC), 0.5×–2× playback speed, resume where you left off • Saved videos — keep something for later and cast it straight from your library • Playlist casting — queue every video found on a page • Remote control — play/pause, seek, volume • Favorites and recent pages on the start page; reopens your last page • Ad and tracker blocking, desktop mode • Universal for iPhone and iPad — landscape toolbar and keyboard shortcuts on iPad • Easy-on-the-eyes dark theme
■ Free trial & unlock • Cast 3 times free, then unlock unlimited casting with a single $0.99 purchase (not a subscription) • Browsing and video detection are always free
■ Notes • Your device and the Chromecast / DLNA TV must be on the same Wi‑Fi • DRM-protected services (YouTube, Netflix, etc.) cannot be cast, for technical and policy reasons. WebCast works with sites that expose directly playable video • Screen mirroring is not included — it sends the video itself to your TV
■ Privacy WebCast collects nothing. History and bookmarks stay on your device.
Each subscription will automatically renew 3 days before the expiration date for
