Wordz Genius is a word search you play with your finger: touch a letter and drag through the ones next to it — sideways, up, down or diagonally — to spell a word. Find every hidden word to clear the grid and move up a level.
SCORING THAT REWARDS GOOD WORDS
Every letter carries a value, the way it does on a tile rack. Q and Z are worth ten, E and A are worth one. Long words made of awkward letters are where the points are.
And you are not limited to the words the grid was built from. Spot any word in the dictionary and it scores — spotting one nobody planted is the best feeling in the game.
A CLOCK, UNLESS YOU WOULD RATHER NOT
Each grid gives you time based on how many words are hidden and how far you have come. Clear it before the clock runs out.
If that is not how you want to play, switch the timer off in Settings and take as long as you like. Words score half while it is off, so a timed run is still worth more.
TWO DICTIONARIES
52,501 English words, or 129,204 French. Switch whenever you like.
GETS HARDER AS YOU GO
Early grids hide their words left-to-right and top-to-bottom. From level four they start running backwards and upwards too.
Playing with a child? Kids mode adds two minutes to every grid.
ONE GAME, EVERYWHERE
iPhone, iPad and Mac, with your best score carried between them over iCloud. Compare it with other players on Game Center, or ignore the leaderboard entirely.
NO CATCHES
No ads. No in-app purchases. No account to create. Nothing to subscribe to. It works offline — the dictionaries are in the app, not on a server.
Light and dark, and it respects Reduce Motion.
