Twenty complete mock exams for the WSET Level 2 Award in Wines, on your phone, working entirely offline.
Independent study aid. Not affiliated with, endorsed by or approved by the Wine & Spirit Education Trust.
Each mock is a full paper: 50 multiple-choice questions on the 60-minute clock, split across the six learning outcomes as the exam splits them. In all, 1,000 questions, every one with the reason for the answer and a line on why the tempting wrong answer is wrong.
In English, French and Spanish: every question, note and flashcard, in the language you choose when you first open the app. Change it any time in Settings.
SIT IT LIKE THE REAL THING
- 50 questions on the real 60-minute clock
- Training mode: the same paper with no clock, each answer explained the moment you give it
- One mark per question and nothing taken off for a wrong answer, as in the exam
- The clock keeps running if you close the app, exactly like the exam room
- Ten minutes left, then five: announced as an invigilator would
- Flag questions, jump between them and pick up any paper where you left it
YOUR GRADE THE MOMENT YOU HAND IN
- Marked at once and graded on the exam's own bands: pass, merit or distinction
- Your score in each learning outcome against the pass line; how many more questions the next grade needs
- Every answer reviewed with its explanation, filtered to the ones you got wrong or flagged
- Where the marks went topic by topic, the time you used and how you compare with your last sitting
- Your grade pressed on as a seal, plus a result card to share
REVISE WHAT THE EXAM ASKS
- A revision note for every learning outcome: grape growing, winemaking, labels by country, sparkling and fortified wines, storage, service and food
- 30 grape profiles: climate, structure, flavours, styles, winemaking, ageing, the exam trap to watch for and every place it is known for
- Four drills in rounds of ten: name the grape, the place, the country or the label term. What you miss comes back first
- From any explanation, one tap to the note or the grape profile that covers it
FIND THE GAPS
- If the exam were today: an estimate of your grade on the exam's own lines, from every answer you have given
- One tap to a weak-spot run: 20 questions on the topics costing you the most marks
- Progress by learning outcome, weighted like the exam, so you revise what costs you marks rather than what merely feels hard
- Your score on each of the 48 topics, weakest first, one tap from practice
- Search all 1,000 questions for a grape, a region or a term, then practise what you find
- Practice by learning outcome, by topic or mixed, questions you have not seen first; several runs open at once
- Questions you got wrong come back until you answer them correctly twice in a row; save any question for later
FLASHCARDS AND A STUDY PLAN
- 244 wine terms with their definitions, free and searchable, with spaced repetition: the ones you keep forgetting come back sooner
- Set your exam date and the app says what to do today, drawn from the marks you are losing, the papers you have not sat, your retry list and the cards that are due
- One daily reminder at an hour you pick; your week at a glance, with the days in a row you have kept it up
NO ACCOUNT, NO SUBSCRIPTION, NO ADS
