Wrist Cockpit

Wrist Cockpit turns your Apple Watch into a variometer and altimeter – for paragliding, hang gliding, gliding and ballooning.

CLIMB AND SINK
• Big vertical speed at a glance: green climb, red sink
• Vario tape with integrator (10, 20 or 30 s)
• E-vario sound like in a glider: pitch glides smoothly, climb chopped, sink as a steady tone
• Sound on/off with one tap or double tap (Apple Watch Series 9, Ultra 2 and later)
• Adjustable thresholds and volume, vibration only if you like

ALTITUDE
• Altitude in m or ft, flight level at STD
• QNH (hPa) or ALT SET (inHg), set with the Digital Crown
• Auto-QNH from GPS or terrain elevation

FLIGHT
• Airtime with IGC recording (XContest, WeGlide, SeeYou)
• Share the IGC as a link via Messages or Mail – the recipient downloads the real .igc file
• Speed and track from GPS, time in UTC

BALLOON
• Envelope temperature from a Bluetooth envelope probe right on your watch
• Colour scale from blue (too cold – keep the balloon warm) to red (limit), selectable base warmth, vibration at the limits

MADE FOR FLYING
• Runs as a workout so the pressure sensor measures at full rate – even with your wrist down
• Complication for your watch face
• Standalone on the watch: no iPhone, no account, no ads, no tracking

Note: Wrist Cockpit provides flight information and does not replace certified instruments.
