TUNE IT TO YOUR DOG
- Four real whistle archetypes — crisp field pip, trial steady, rolling pea trill, gliding shepherd's lip — each playable live: touch and slide to blow.
- A full tuner with three ways to dial a frequency: a focused scale, a fine fader, and a spinning dial. Bookmark the pitches that work.
- A short A/B listen test helps you find the pitch your dog responds to; every dog keeps its own pitch, whistle, level, cues — even pronouns and age.
- Nudge the base pitch mid-session, save per-dog presets, and set your working level under a hard safety cap.

BUILD CUES, NOT JUST TONES
- Author "three pips" or "one long blast" once — Yip replays it sample-accurately forever, with tone and gap timing down to the millisecond.
- Record a whistle MOVE by how you play the on-screen whistle; it becomes a cue like any other.
- Color-coded cue categories, favorites, and a configurable quickdial grid — plus an Apple Watch quickdial with a Double Tap gesture cue (on supported watches).

A CLICKER THAT'S REALLY A CLICKER
- An actual recorded trainer's clicker — press for click, lift for clack, with real mechanical timing.
- Record your own clicker's true voice and give each dog its favorite.

HONEST BY DESIGN
Phones can't produce true ultrasonic sound — so Yip never pretends to. It works in the band dogs hear most keenly, shows exactly what your device can produce, verifies tone accuracy, and caps output at a safe level you can't exceed. Dogs hear far more sensitively than we do; Yip is built for kind, reward-based training — never for annoying or harassing an animal.
