Zync Cloud

The iOS version of the leading data capture application from Zync Solutions for Field Marketing & Sales. Capture data via questionnaires, using text, numbers, dates and times.
Supports image, signature, barcode scanning (by built in camera or HID hardware) data capture.

Offline Data Storage
All data is stored locally on the devices and only synchronised when required. This has an enormous advantage over an on-line based systems as it does not need to be connected to the internet to continue to operate.

Very Large Databases
Our apps take advantage of internal storage enabling access to very large datasets locally on the devicd, ideal for offline stock ordering/auditing.

Push Messaging
Instantly push messages to users on supported devices.

Mobile Printing
Print receipts, orders & statements via compatible printers (currently support Zebra range of printers, including the low cost bluetooth printer mz320). Zync are a registered EMEA software partner for Zebra, and work with them to ensure you get the best out of your hardware.

File Attachments
In addition to data & image synchronisation, supports downloading and viewing of PDF, MP3 & MP4 files in the application.
These files can be assigned to questions as a visual aid, for example ‘set up the work as shown’.

Signature Capture
Signatures are captured via a stylus or finger depending on device type. Data stored as an image with the person’s name.

GPS Location
On compatible devices, the GPS location (or Phone Mast Triangulation) is taken at the start and end of a survey.

Image Capture
Photos can be taken and associated with the relevant survey data and store location information.

QR/Barcode Scanning
Support for any major scanning hardware that supports HID (Human Interface Device) input. Barcode and QR Code Scanning is also supported via the built-in camera with auto focus.
Users can now choose an alternative to the built in camera scanning application, Pic2shop, this supports non-auto focus camers (eg iPod Touch) to the built-in app.

Smartphone, Tablet & PC Syncing
The Zync Cloud Sync service runs on wholly owned synchronisation software Ambersync designed by Zync Solutions to work in partnership with the Device Data Capture Apps.

Fast & Efficient
Designed from the ground up work with large databases, all information is optimised to make the synchronisation time as short and as low cost as possible. To help this users can sync via USB tethered to PC, WIFI, or any mobile network data protocol (eg GPRS, 3G, 4G, HSDPA+ etc)

Safe & Secure
All data is encrypted to 128Bit when transmitting between device and Cloud. All relevant data is also backed up as part of each sync session, so should the worst happen to the device, user can restore back to last sync.
