Introducing the App Intelligence Dashboard: Deep Data for Every App
For a long time, if you wanted deep historical data on how an app was actually performing, you had two choices: build your own scraper or write a five-figure check to an enterprise data firm like Sensor Tower or Apptopia.
Starting today, we’ve turned our internal datasets into a live, interactive App Intelligence Dashboard accessible directly on any app page, at a fraction of the cost.

See it in action
We’ve unlocked full historical data for three major apps so you can explore the depth yourself:
- TikTok: the scale of a global giant
- Google Maps: a pure utility benchmark
- AppBrain App Market: we use it ourselves
What’s in the dashboard?
The core value isn’t raw numbers. It’s context. Knowing why a metric changed is where the real insight lies.
-
Performance Timelines (since 2021): Downloads and ratings on a single interactive chart, with version release markers overlaid. You can see whether a major update drove installs or hurt ratings, and exactly when it happened.
-
Competitor Benchmarking: A side-by-side table of related apps with downloads, ratings, and review counts. A quick way to tell whether a category trend is lifting all boats or whether one app is pulling away from the pack.
-
Global Country Rankings: Where an app is gaining or losing rank, with trend indicators per country. Useful for identifying geographic markets worth targeting for user acquisition.
-
SDK & Library Tracking: The current tech stack of any app, grouped by category: ad networks, analytics, payment providers, and more.
Subscription plans
-
Free: Everyone gets the last 30 days of data and top-country rankings, enough to get a meaningful pulse on any app.
-
Subscribers ($75/month): Full history back to 2021, all countries, and all insight cards. For teams on longer plans, the monthly price drops by up to 20%.
For context: the enterprise tools that offer comparable data typically start at $10,000/year. We think the market deserves a more accessible option.
What’s next
This is v1. We’re already working on custom competitor selection, so you can build your own comparison view beyond the automatically suggested apps, as well as longer rank histories and more insight signals.
How to find it: Click the “App Intelligence” button on any Android app page on AppBrain. Currently optimized for desktop.
