Slightly weird approach to settings, and refuses to play some files. But apart from that it seems to work reliably.

my fave! there's no better mediaplayer than this one. best picture quality i have ever seen with mpeg4, 3gp, and avi on my HTC tattoo. it only fails in playlist creation.

You have to convert the subtitles to <UTF-8 without BOM> to get the special characters right. Nice app by the way

Ugly UI, but a solid media player. I don't like how it finds media files that you don't want displayed, like app-related files. Otherwise the pop up option menus are great, zoom options are helpful, a solid app.

Intuitive control, but design needs polishing The features are hard to find in other video players but still need polished modern UI design to be more loveable. Also please use file metadata to detect video orientation (0° or 90°) to be able to use in vertical player mode. Bookmarking creates a meta file in the same folder as the video but since Android Kitkat, Google prohibits apps writing to user folders on External SD cards. On Lollipop there is a way to fix this, please invoke a user permission to write on SD card.

Would give it 4 or 5 but For some reason on my Galaxy S this thing freezes when i make a playlist. Been using this app since 2009, never gave me issues like that.

Installed trial – immediately says trial expired. I have installed 20 or so video players, none of which does all that I would like in a video player. Installed trail for this app to check it out… immediately says trial has expired. What gives? People, if they can’t even get their trial to work right, who would spend money on a paid version? Either that, or it is a pay before you try, we will refund your money, if you don’t like it (unless you have used it for over 15 minutes), bullsh1t. So, is it coding flaws or ethics flaws? So, being forced to buy it, I did. Says it has AB play mode but requires you to make bookmarks to use… which are not an option (grayed out). What can I say? Mfr forced me to buy their product to test it and it didn’t work right, go figure. Maybe that is why trial no longer worked… got to make their money somehow. Pass that 15 minute window and they still get paid.
