This app is great, a few hurdles during setup but once set up, it just works, I'm honestly surprised how seamlessly it puts up with all the nonsense I've thrown at it, converting from tidal to dlna for my old av receiver is so nice and seamless bla bla bla great app for dlna shenanigans with great compatibility

Finally, found a working app! I was struggling to cast from my Realme phone to Samsung TV for a long time. Other apps were lagging or the quality was bad, but BubbleUPnP is super smooth. High-quality video and no lag at all. If you have a Samsung TV, just go for it! Highly recommended. Thanks to the developers!

After recent updateI use bubbleupnp (on my phone) with a Chromecast by either casting or through local connection error code 500), I can see my local serv and files but if I try to play a video, I have either" files can't be read" or errors showing my ip/local ip saying it can't access it. I also tried on data connection, won't work even with local player on my phone. Any idea? I don't really know where to look,

Does not support Android Auto and developers have declined this feature request multiple times and have no plans to make it so. I'm going to change and try a Jellyfin server with the Symphonium Android client which does support Android auto.

Cannot select the audio track. It only uses the default audio. This is a rudimentary option that should have been implemented. Instead, this app just chases that ad revenue with no real value added.

The major problem with this app is that it rarely makes it through a song without stopping in the middle and going to the next song. It used to be fine but now for the past couple years, seriously, it hardly makes it through a song. The most basic most important part of an app should be playing the music. It's super frustrating. I need to find a new one, I used to love this app.

can't cast videos without paying for a license configuring it as a server is buggy, no files can be seen by vlc player on the smart tv. spent an hour trying to get it to work. Switched to a different app and issue was resolved immediately.
