This is amazing! I have tried many Family Tree apps and this is the first that does everything I want. I use Legacy on my PC, but Jetstar on my phone and tablet just zooms along with 12,000 people and has an unbelievable amount of accessible data in a very small file. When out and about this has everything available instantly - and doesn't need internet access. It's not designed to be your main Family Tree database, but it's handling of Legacy files is brilliant, meaning reference to info when researching away from home is a breeze. Also, great as a database for births of living people. My only suggestion to users is to place the program in the Secure Access of your phone so that no one else can access the info.

This app does exactly what is says! No, you can not edit your data, no you can not open a gedcom file directly and no, you can not start creating your own tree. The app description tells you exactly that! Download gedcom app for windows (FREE!), convert gedcom file...took me 30 seconds for 10 thousand people. Email the converted file to your android phone, place in the location the creator explains. Open this app and voilà, you have your complete ancestor overview! Works perfectly 5 stars,

I was hoping to use this app to load gedcom files in Android, but it would not read my gedcom.

You MUST install a separate program to open your gedcom, then convert to their proprietary format, then export to this viewer. Needs to import, convert and display from the viewer. Uninstalled.
